If you was 52 years old, would you quit your $500K job to go back to school in hopes of a $50K job were you had to compete with thousands?

If I made 500k a year I would have invested enough money to retire at age 52.

Yes, I would love to go back to school after retirement but no, I probably wouldn't compete for a full-time job. I'd much rather take a part-time volunteer position that I found interesting and rewarding.
