Brunettes
I'd say blonde purely because I've had brown hair before (tons of different shades) and I think blondes are a nice all season colour, brunettes - I find that people like to dye their hair a lighter brown for the summer, and a darker brown for the winter because it seems to make a lot of sense (to me) where as blondes can stay the same all year round.
Plus if you just bleach your hair blonde, it's easier in terms of up keep and less damaging as well since you can just bleach the roots every time they grew out a lot, and use purple shampoo to keep it blonde where as browns tend to fade more, so you'd be doing the roots AND the lengths to freshen up the colour. Blondes just get brassy which isn't much of a problem imo.

There have been studies done, because this has been asked over and over.
In the end, the brunettes are the keepers. The blonde gets their attention first, but they end up with the brunette. You win. <
